Hello guys, I hope you all are well. Today I am going to share some fresh macro photographs of a grasshopper that I have taken yesterday. I click these shots with my new Mi 11 Lite that I recently bought. I use a 5MP macro camera with manual focus to get close to the grasshopper and its possible detail. There are two kinds of grasshopper in this post. One is a green grasshopper and another one is a stick grasshopper. I hope you like these clicks. Here is some extra information about the grasshopper.

Grasshoppers are a type of insect that belongs to the Caelifera suborder. They are the oldest living group of chewing herbivorous insects, dating back to the early Triassic period roughly 250 million years ago.

Grasshoppers are ground-dwelling insects with muscular hind legs that enable them to flee from predators by leaping quickly. They do not go through a complete metamorphosis since they are hemimetabolous insects; they hatch from an egg into a nymph or "hopper" that goes through five moults.

Diet and digestion

Most grasshoppers are polyphagous, eating plants from a variety of sources, but some are omnivorous, eating animal tissue and faeces as well. Grasslands, including numerous cereals planted as crops, are their preferred food. Malpighian tubules discharge into the midgut, as is typical of insects' digestive systems.^source
