Education is a behavioral change. Education is a process where learning benefits or knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits are acquired. Modern education is a student-centered process; In this education system, the student becomes an active participant in the teaching-learning activities.

According to Kautilya-- education is a strategy to train a child to love the country or the nation.
According to Shankaracharya--education is the gain of self-knowledge.
