Yeah, as you can see here. This is a pair of hoverflies mating in the grass. Look, they are small and adorable. But about this one, they are experts at doing it. I think they get together to mate after they have had their fill of nectar. Yeah, hoverflies are known as pollinator insects.

Hoverflies also go by several common names, among which are known as flower flies or syrphid flies. This is a species of Simosyrphus grandicornis. This species is the smallest among other hoverflies in the family Syrphidae. Often found in the bush, the habitat is distributed throughout Southeast Asia, Australia, the Polynesian islands, and Hawaii.

When mating is done, the male leaves the female alone. And the female is also getting ready to go back to work to find nectar, and it won't be long before she'll be laying eggs.
