The Common Lineblue (Prosotas Nora)

This afternoon I spent my free time walking around the Pusong Reservoir. In the bushes that grew along the road, I saw many small butterflies flying.

They fly low but with a very quick flick of the weeds. Some of the butterflies were perched on the wildflowers, but not long after that came another butterfly which tried to disturb it, and it flew away. I assumed it was a male butterfly trying to seduce a female into mating.

This butterfly is a species of Prosotas nora or called the common lineblue, is a species of lycaenid butterfly belonging to the Lycaenidae family. This species was first described by Rudolf Felder in 1860.
