The tiger or lion is commonly known as the king of the jungle, while the crocodile is the king of the swamp or freshwater river, but in life under the bush, the jumping spider is the king.

Jumping spiders may be small, but are known to be the deadliest predators of insects. With its strong and sharp jaws, it is even capable of paralyzing prey that is much bigger than it.

Yesterday, I saw that a flying ant had to end tragically in the jaw of a golden-orange jumping spider. Its pointed jaw pierces the back of its prey. There is not the slightest chance for the flying ant to escape the predator's deadly bite. The only thing it could do was wait for death.
