Tiny Black Hoverfly
Hoverflies are best known as pollinators, and also feed on both pollen and nectar for energy to produce eggs, which usually seen on flowers but also occasionally grasses and trees. Hoverflies has different color and size but I mostly found yellow and black hoverfly which sometimes made me confuse to identify them with wasp or bees.
They belong to the family Syrphidae, in the order fly. This is a tiny version of hoverfly that I found around the grass near the woodland As it is tiny insect, I managed to take its photos with extreme macro so I could be able to perceive the detailed look of this insect.
Actually, it is also occasionally spotted inland. This species is known as a fast flier and mostly seen flying low over the ground and used to stop on the vegetation plants and twigs.
