Painted Lady~A Colorful Butterfly I 10% Beneficiary to shy-fox
Hello beauty lovers! On this fine occasion, I am delighted to come up with some pictures of a butterfly that I recently found in the wood. It was spotted when I arrived at the hunting spot, I thought it appeared to welcome me but when I tried to approach, it flew away. It's not an easy job to make it calm, and it never was. What I had to do was to follow its way while seeking a space to take a shot from distance range which made the result was not as expected but at least I got the shape of it. The flower, a place where it stood, was something that urged me to capture this butterfly. This species is known as painted lady, a colorful butterfly that is occasionally found in the wood or in the garden. Painted lady butterfly (Vanessa cardui) comes from the family of Nymphalidae, in the genus Vanessa
The main defense mechanisms of the painted lady butterflies include flight and camouflage. The caterpillars hide in small silk nests on top of leaves from main predators that include wasps, spiders, ants, and birds.source
