Kingfisher | Ready to Fly

in Beauty of Creativitylast year

The other two had flown away finding their home in nature after being with us for one week, they were still babies when we first found them, but now they were strong enough to fly. As we planned, we just feed them and then, we release them when they were ready. Sadly, this was left alone while the others were already found their way in nature. My wife trained this bird to fly and this evening, it finally left us with happy face. As they are wild birds, I dont want to lock them up. In the morning, their mother come over with the food, when it is absent, my wife go out and feed them with shrimps. Hope, they are comfortable with us, until the time come, we will release them and we also hope, they dont mind visiting us sometime in future. Sometime unexpected come up around you, just like this little bird waiting for its mother for good food. Kingfishers commonly found in coastal areas, rivers, lakes or ponds where they can easily find foods such as fish, shrimp, frogs and insects.

First of all, I want to say that your pictures are very beautiful. But the story you told also deserves a lot of praise. May the Creator give you long life for such magnanimity towards nature.
