Insect on the Spot: Cazira Chiroptera
Known as Cazira chiroptera, a kind of shield bug that I found sitting on the green leaf. It belongs to genus of shield bug. As it did not move quite a lot, I tried to get some shots while it was crawling on rotting wood and sometimes it moved quickly that made me wait for a couple minutes to get the whole appearance of this bug. It is considered a rare seen insect that plays on the leaves, but their appearance often tempted me to take shots. Knowing it was back on the spot, I started playing with some clicks, but all of sudden, it was trying to hide from my sight which made me do some effort to get its head. I finally got its body shots and head that admire me about this creature and it always attracts me with its unique appearance. To be honest, that was my first time seeing such a beautiful shield bug that look like a ladybeetle. More you are into nature, more unexpected stuff come out! So, when I found right focus, I managed to take a couple of shots from different angles with my smartphone plus external macro. We can only see detail thru the close-up photography or macro which enlarge the form of its body.
