Grey Pansy Butterfly | 10% to shy-fox

in Beauty of Creativity2 years ago

It's fancy to find another butterfly around the wood, a species that is commonly known as a grey pansy (Junonia atlites). Grey pansy may vary in size, color, and pattern irrespective of sex. The forewing is more falcate in dry season individuals. Grey pansy spread throughout Asia, Southeast Asia, and Indonesia one of its best homes.

It belongs to Nymphalidae in the order Lepidoptera. On the upperside, the wings are pale greyish buff and distinctly marked with dark brown discal and submarginal lines. Post-discal series of eye-spots, some of which are divided into an outer black half and an inner orange half, are found on both forewing and hindwing.

On the underside, the wings are marked as per above but all markings are much paler. So, I had to get rid of this problem if I wanted to have a good look of this butterfly. First thing first, I had to wait for the calmness by making a careful step toward this winged insect, and ensuring there was no any tall grass blocked my view.
