Fascinating Damselflies on the Twigs || 10% to shy-fox
This damselfly was probably out of its range during the twentieth century but has brought benefits within its kind over the last few decades from conservation management aimed at increasing open fen vegetation. It is mainly found around the bush, near the shallow, freshwater habitat.
Damselfly, a winged insect that is mainly found around the bush, near the shallow, freshwater habitat. I found it again swinging around the ditch that was filled with grass. Damselfly belongs to suborder Zygoptera in the order Odonata, classified as predatory insects. Their color may vary, the one I found was orange and I also spotted some other green damselflies nearby but I mainly focused on this one.
It's good to see its head thru a macro lens, two brown eyes were seemingly staring at me as if it was just fine with the shots. Finding it calm, decided to take its pictures with a DSLR as good as possible.
This typical damselfly usually stop in one place while patrolling the prey and after that it would return to the same spot. it was not quite active in the daylight. After spending some time, I was finally able to capture some pictures of this fascinating species of winged insect.
