Fan-Jelly Fungus

in Beauty of Creativitylast year

It appears, I need to spend some time to find the mushroom in the wet area since I don't see any of them around. When I was walking around the bush, I noticed these tiny mushrooms grew in a large colony on a decaying or rotting tree stump. After spending some time, I finally sighted a large group of this mushroom. In fact, I needed some time to look for this little mushroom that eventually grew on a rotten log in between the wild grasses. It is best known as Fan-Jelly Fungus, with a rubbery texture and lack of gills, it's clearly a type of jelly fungus Dacryopinax spathularia. As we all know, mushrooms also cultivated for medicinal properties to cure chronic bronchitis, coronary heart disease and cancer. Unlike the cultivated mushroom, this kind of mushroom or I prefer call metal-bottle cap mushroom lives wildly, and remain untouchable. It's great to see its shape, the elegance and charming look have just made my day. I was thrilled to see these mushrooms were still in good shape and color and I decided to take a few photos from different angle with my smartphone and external macro device.
