Damselfly on the Twig || 10% to shy-fox
As it was kind of smallest species of damselfly, I had to be carefully paying attention on its move. Yeah, it is a typical damselfly that is quite active during daylight, and used to hang out on the twig. Finding it calm, decided to take its pictures with a DSLR as good as possible.
This damselfly was probably out of its range during the twentieth century but has brought benefits within its kind over the last few decades from conservation management aimed at increasing open fen vegetation. It is mainly found around the bush, near the shallow, freshwater habitat. I found it again swinging around the ditch that was filled with grass. It is classified as predatory insects.
This typical damselfly usually stop in one place while patrolling the prey and after that it would return to the same spot. it was not quite active in the daylight. After spending some time, I was finally able to capture some pictures of this fascinating species of winged insect.
