Costumes Parade in Close Up || 10% to shy-fox
To celebrate the Indonesia Independence Day, a lot of student took part performing their creativity on the costume the day after. It took place within the city streets by showing off their unique costumes. Everyone was happy since the covid the parade was not performed for two years and today, I saw the excitement of the visitors and the participants in attracting the people with the costume they created.
Indeed, I was in love to have some close up of these participants with traditional costumes during the parade. You will find these same costume clubs attending many traditional events throughout the year.
They also focus on keeping ancient crafts tradition alive and mostly work closely together with local authorities. Even in their private time, you will see many of them wearing their traditional clothes on special days.
Big as the Traditional Costume Parade at August, a day after comomarating the independence day, it started to attract many people as well. The committee will allow traditional groups from any province in Indonesia.
Most groups will feature traditional costumes. Some, however, delve even deeper into the past. Usually, you will have quite a couple of medieval groups – some of them even specializing on creating the unique costume from the leaves!
