Black Spotted Ladybird
Coccinellidae or ladybirds, also called lady beetles considered beneficial to humans because they eat phytophagous insects but not all eat pests of plants, and a few are themselves pests. We can find them outdoor during the daylight crawling around the leaves. Despite of being classified into predacious on other insects, this ladybird might also attract my attention to its appearance, that's why I could not turn back without taking any photos of this beautiful lady beetle. We can only see detail thru the close-up photography or macro which enlarge the form of its body. It stayed very calm on the leaf even it did not notice me coming but when I started playing with some clicks. Most ladybirds have oval, dome-shaped bodies with six short legs. Depending on the species, they can have spots, stripes or no markings at all. Black spotted ladybugs are mostly found with their head is black with white patches on either side. Anyway, I got its body shots and that is fine as long as I can admire this creature that always attract me with its appearance. Ladybugs are considered highly beneficial, harmless insects. They don’t sting. And though they do rarely bite, it feels like a light pinch.
