Beauty of Nature: Wild Spikenard |10% Beneficiary to shy-fox
Wild Spikenard is a typical wildflower that commonly grows along the roadside. It is included a little plant with purple color. Sometimes it's good to bring it up to the surface, a little beauty of the wild that is often neglected. So after having done observing, I grabbed my gear and started to shoot from the closest range. Surely, I used my smartphone and external macro device to capture this little one.
Besides having a charming look, wild spikenard is also considered a medicinal plant that is commonly used to treat digestive and respiratory diseases, containing essential oil that works on antibacterial activity. This typical wild plant is distributed throughout tropical countries, and Indonesia is one of its best homes to live in. It belongs to the family Lamiaceae, in the genus Mesosphaerum.
Mesosphaerum suaveolens can be made into a refreshing drink by soaking the seeds in water and refrigerating the mix. Some people add lemon or other citrus to improve the taste. source
