Argiope sp. Orb Weaver Spider
I found this spider on a patch of thick bushes. It is female and juveniles, it attracted me with flimsy webs with round stabilimenta or "silk writing" in their centers. The circumference of the white circles matched the limits of the leg extensions of the spider. Known as Argiope sp. orb weaver spider wrapping up an insect that has become snared in its web. After wrapping the insect to eat later, the spider returns to its stabilimentum, a silk structure at the center of the web, thought to hide the spider's outline and attract more prey. If we notice closely, the web is very complex that is built in the air and makes us wonder how but don't think about it too much because every creature has its own way to survive and to build shelter upon the gift of God. Photographed in montane forest in Saweuk, North Aceh.
