Anise Swallowtail Butterfly (Papilio zelicaon): 10% Beneficiary to shy-fox
I would like to come again with another species of butterfly that I found somewhere around the local forest a little while ago. Being said, it is one of the most spectacular butterflies that are occasionally seen flying over vegetation and sometimes trouble us to take photos as it is busy flying here and there and it is very sensitive to the threat. So, in taking its photos, I had to approach it carefully or otherwise, it disappeared before I got a chance to take its photos. This fascinating butterfly is called the Anise Swallowtail, similar to Citrus Swallowtail that used to be seen perching on the flowers. This typical butterfly can be differently identified from other swallowtails by a large amount of black on the front portion of the fore wing and little blue around the hind wing. I found it just this late afternoon in vegetation plants, and I thought that would be easy for me to catch but soon after I got a few pictures, it took off and flew away. Anise Swallowtail Butterfly comes from the family of Papilionidae, in the order Lepidoptera
The anise swallowtail has a wingspan ranging from 52 to 80 mm (2.0 to 3.1 in). Wings are mostly yellow, with black bands along the edges of both the forewings and hindwings.source

These butterflies are a very bright and colorful species, very beautiful to be seen from afar. The photographs have been excellent.
