A Squirrel on the Tree Branch | 10% Beneficiary to shy-fox
This squirrel was jumping from one branch to another when I spotted this gray squirrel from distance in the backyard. So, I had to make it fast before it's gone away. It is very familiar mammals that can be found in wood, on the trees that they used to hang out. I just noticed only one squirrel on the branch that was ready to jump to another tree, and I should stay at distance if I wanted to take the pictures.
I was trying to get the distance click which I believe, the result was not as good as the closest one but you know the squirrel is jumping animal which rather hard to get closer shot. It is diurnal that mostly active at dawn and dusk, searching for available food.
It is also very agile in the trees and can run along slender twigs, leaping from tree to tree. The squirrels as may all know have good eyesight and often sit upright on a vantage point to look around them. They have a keen sense of smell too!
