El creador de obstáculos
Uno de los problemas que se presenta cuando intentamos construir una relación fraternal positiva y duradera, es negarnos a ver a la gente tal como es. La idealizamos como queremos que sea o como nos conviene. Esa parcialidad termina por hacernos sentir defraudados cuando la persona en cuestión hace lo que siempre ha hecho, pero por fin nos atrevemos a verlo.
Si tu amigo o amiga discrimina a otros, si hace comentarios negativos sobre los demás, si no demuestra lealtad hacia personas cercanas, si engaña o estafa a la gente, y tú lo sabes, recuerda que mañana podría actuar así contigo. Las cualidades y defectos de las personas en quienes ponemos nuestra atención siempre están allí, pero nos negamos a ver los porque pueden hacernos sentir heridos y decepcionados. Aunque ¡claro!, pueden cambiar y evolucionar.

The obstacle maker
One of the problems that comes up when we try to build a positive and lasting fraternal relationship is refusing to see people as they are. We idealize them the way we want them to be or the way they suit us. This partiality ends up making us feel disappointed when the person in question does what he or she has always done, but we finally dare to see him or her.
If your friend discriminates against others, if he or she makes negative comments about others, if he or she does not show loyalty to people close to him or her, if he or she deceives or swindles people, and you know it, remember that tomorrow he or she could act like that with you. The qualities and flaws of the people on whom we focus are always there, but we refuse to see why they can make us feel hurt and disappointed. Of course, they can change and evolve.
