BEING A GOOD LEADER
ALL of us cannot be leaders but ALL of us should have sense of leadership for a better society.

"What differentiates a leader from a follower is management of differences and this requires wisdom,knowledge and understand."
"A leader shouldn't buy his way to short term success, it does not work over the long term. Success requires patience and the construction of a complete organization."
"A leader in/of a team should only be driven by the success of his team and his team members. He should never think of who takes the glory of any success. A team fails when team members are conscious of who takes the glory of whatever they do."
For instance, on a field of play, strikers can defend,though it isn't their primary assignment. Likewise defenders can score. When all team members are driven by the success of the team and not individual glory, the team overcome whatever mountains they have before them.
"A leader should be ready to bear any name when in leadership position. Nevertheless, what should be his driving force is what name he gives himself. What others call you isn't as important as what you carry yourself to be"
"Anyone who leads must never be independent of planning books. Otherwise all hurdles will seem difficult to jump for him"
"Real leaders are not driven by titles but responsibilities; hearts that bear and minds that care".
"Real leaders open their eyes wide to 'lead' but close their eyes to 'act'." If you close your eyes as a leader to lead, your followers will suffer and live like sheep with no shepherd. If you open your eyes to act, your followers will blame you for whatever failure they themselves cause for you. And they will leave you
"What should be of utmost desire for a leader is knowledge and understanding. Nevertheless, understanding supersedes knowledge in leadership. However a leader without knowledge is already buried alive." Understanding supersedes because every circumstance or every situation or challenge differs from one another, therefore you need to identifiably understand a particular situation in order to know what knowledge is to be applied. As a leader to get knowledge, it is not on the surface, you will have to READ and PRACTICE.
Its my prayer that God gives our leaders in the world that divine understanding and knowledge to make our world what it ought to be.
