Steemit Nursery Contest | Tell me an act of kindness By @sikan-eyen.

It's really a pleasure writing here, hope life is not too hard on you?...well i hope not, because everyone needs a little bit of kindness.
On this contest, i am so excited to be sharing an activity of kindness i and my team anchored.
I am passionate about being an agent of change in my sphere of influence and beyond and i am pushed to show this act of kindness whenever i am able to offer a helping hand be it at my place of work, in the family, at church, in the market, amongst friends and even on the road; the other day i assisted a granny in offloading her load, the smile on her wrinkled face was everything .
Okay so,
About this particular activity ,i am my team pondered on something we could do to service humanity. And then, i came up with this great idea of touching lives in a local area where there are more underprivileged adults and children.
My suggestion was succesful. We chosed Ikono local government area of Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria to show our act of kindness.
But there was a setback...FUNDS
We decided to rag in the streets in order to get money to carry out our plan.
We set out to it..and glad it was a success.

So, we set out to Ikot Obio Mkpong in Ikono community with food item, toiletries, donated clothes, shoes and a medical team as a plus.

The joy and look on their faces was priceless as these items were being given out, i never felt so fulfilled all my life.
They came out in numbers that the hall we occupied became filled up.
We introduced ourselves, and got to know more about the community from the village head, before distributing the gifts.

Many prayers were said in our names, then we came to an halt. I hope to do more of this soonest.
