HOW I SPENT MY DAY AT PLANET 3R OFFICE.
It is a beautiful day.
Today I will share how I spent my day.
I woke up around 6:15am and I did my devotion.

The Topic of the devotion is "The choice is yours".
The choice you make will either make or mar you. Life will always present opportunity to choose.

In a nutshell, I learnt that for every choice made, there is always alternative forgone.

After this, I wash my teeth and I took my bathe with very cold water. 😀

Then I set out for a workshop " Waste to Wealth" organized by Planet 3R sponsored by Eleven Eleven Twelve Foundation.

This is me when I stepped out of my room🤗

I took a tricycle "Maruwa" from my house to Planet 3R office.

It was a bit stressful to locate the office because I haven't been there before. I had to call the Director of the company who later sent someone to pick me up.

This is me when I entered the planet 3R office.

As I entered, everyone warmly welcomed me. The director was on a call when I entered. When she dropped the call, she welcomed me as well and asked me to sit. Then I started looking around. You know how the look will be like when you just entered an office for the first time. You would want to look around and check how attractive or nice the office is. You know now. Don't you? I did that today..🙈

At around after 10am, we started the training. The Director introduced herself and asked the participants to introduce ourselves. We introduced ourselves and we got to know ourselves. We were 12 that were selected for the training out of 900 plus applicants. What an opportunity! 🥰. 8 of us were present today for the training.

Now to the matter of the day, she introduced to Weaving and Recycling of waste. After her session, another staff took us "The Loom Machine" Attached bellow is a picture of a loom machine.

A Loom is a frame or machine of wood in which cloth is formed out of thread or yarn. It is a handmade wooden device used for warping fabrics and tapestry. It has different part, e.g wrap shaft, headles, warp roller, shaft, lease stick, cloth roller, lease reed, slay cap, pedal, seat, weft etc.
I really enjoyed this part as it was interactive and informative.
After this session, we had tea break😁

Another session began around 12 pm.
Ooooh! Sorry, I forgot to tell you that I met a professional photographer, who was taking pictures of the training. He is friendly and good.

The last session was on how to source for waste.
I learnt that to convert pure water sachet to useful product we have to

1. Source for waste
2. Clean the waste
3. Sundry it for about three days.

Below is our practical on this session.

We collected from the waste the company had in stock, we fetched water and wash the waste with detergent soap and hypo thoroughly.

We then spread the waste on a sack inside the sun.

This is where we stopped the training for today.
I went back to my house and I got home around 4pm.

The waste can be used to produce so many things, like bag, shoe, slippers, decoration, mat etc. See below one of the company products
