Newcomers Guide - How To Claim Your Steemit Rewards To Your Steemitwallet

Hello @everyone I hope you will be fine and enjoying good health. As I am running a simple series to guide newcomers.

As yesterday I published a simple guide with important information for all the newcomers and many newcomers have been giving positive feedback. And steemit team, steemcurator01 also appreciated my efforts and suggested me to tell about the claim rewards as many newcomers are facing problems in claiming their rewards. And being unknown from the procedure to claim reward they could node that they got upvotes but now after the payout of the post there is Noth Ng in the wallet.

So today I am going to inform you that how can you claim your rewards to your wallet easily?

As we know that Steemit and Steem is booming everywhere and many people are joining steemit and on daily basis there are many users who are joining steemit from the whole world.

Most of the newcomers are well educated about the steemit and it's working but there are also many users who are unfamiliar to the working of Steemit yet.

And a big problem which is common and many newcomers are facing this problem. This problem is the Claim/Redeem Rewards . Newcomers receive upvotes on their posts but they do not know how they can claim their reward and they consider that their reward has been hacked and they have obtained nothing for their work. But it is completely wrong understanding. And I am here to clear and resolve this issue.

Here you can see my post which have the reward of almost 0.74 and this reward payouts after the 7 days of the post published and then we can easily claim this reward.

You can see the payout time of the reward of your post by clicking on the reward especially on the Inverted Triangular shape and then you will see the above situation of Breakdown which is divided as follows:

• Steem Backed Dollar (SBD)
• Steem Power (SP)
• Tron (TRX)

But the 50% of this reward goes to the curators in the firm of the curation reward and the remaining reward you receive as the author reward.

And after the completion of 7 days of the post author reward is given to you by the breakdown formula. Now it is the time to claim your reward.

How to claim/redeem reward?

You can easily and simply claim your reward in the two simple ways which are given as follows:

• Claim from steemit notifications: Yes you can easily claim your reward from the notification section. Once your post payouts there comes a notification to claim your reward which looks like this.

So here you can see the option to Redeem and to redeem your reward simply click on this Redeem option and your rewards are in your wallet now. Now you can use them to power up by changing your SBDs to Steems and the to power up. As the steemit team is giving TRX equal to the SP but in the notification section you cannot see them. But these are added accordingly.

• Claim from Steemitwallet: I thought no everyone is familiar to the https://steemitwallet.com/ a free wallet of the steemit to hold your Steems, SBDs and you trx. And you can simply claim your rewards from the steemitwallet simply after the payout of your post. You have to go to your steemitwallet then you will see a screen like the below screenshot.

But before claiming your reward you have to log in steemitwallet with the Private Active Key as it is necessary to claim your rewards and to power up and for the transfers.

As you can see that there are 0.449 SBDs in the wallet at present as I am taking these screenshots from my fellow.

But when I claimed my rewards my balance has been updated and now there are 4.274 SBDs in my balance.

And in the history of the wallet you can also confirm your transaction by scrolling down your screen.

So i have done and in this way you can also claim your rewards easily and utilize them to power up SP.
