I so love this initiative by @bright-obias to let people express what makes them happy. I'm deeply indebted to you Sire for this great initiative.

MY BEST HOBBY
Growing up, there were a lot of stuffs I loved doing. Amongst them were playing football, listening to stories, seeing movies and so on but non of those really was my hobby. At a point in my life, I decided that there should be one thing that should always announce me to the world. One thing I should be known for. One thing that will always give me all the discipline I need.

I discovered the artist in me. When I first started, twas like a day dream. Everyone were all saying "Dave, have you finally become an artist overnight?

Some would say, "Dave, you are actually good with your skills, why didn't you study Fine And Industrial Art in the university instead of the Building Technology you are studying?"...

I'll always laugh and tell them, "it is not about what I'm doing in art, it is about what art is doing in me".

Art has become my hobby. Staying without creating is not really good for me, with art, creativity always comes from different dimensions.

In Nigeria where I come from, the cost of art tools has really made a lot of artist refrain from drawing.
But to me, what makes me happy is worth going for at all cost.

Art really teaches me patience, endurance and discipline.

At the start of my drawings, it has always look like it won't give any good result but patience and discipline won't ever let me stop doing it.

There is another thing art does to me which makes me forever grateful for making it my best hobby.., it digresses my focus from most of the distractions my environment could conceive and help me turn my back on them.

Make me sad, my art will make me smile..
Make me weak, my art will make me strong..
Give me a hundred reasons to cry, art will give a thousand reasons to smile.
The joy embedded in it is just top-notch.
The list is just endless why art is my hobby.

THE IMPERATIVE ASPECT OF MY HOBBY
I remember one day I was damn heartbroken, I used art to heal🤣🤣..
The most imperative aspect of my hobby is keep making people smile when they get to see my art portrait of them. Making people smile is one of life's prime factor.

HOW I INTENT TO CREATE A LANDMARK WITH MY JOY-GIVER
I try to compare my skills with the best photo camera in the world. What that means is that, I want people never believe that my drawing is actually a drawing until they see the drawing processes. They should always see it as a photograph. And that is what I want to be known for.
The simple but difficult trick is just to believe and keep practicing.
