The use of images
Hello dear newcomers! Some time ago I made a post related to the images we use in our posts.
So I want to share again not only the sites where you can download images legally, but also show you what not to do with them.
What you shouldn't do
There is a custom that I have seen in steemians new and old, and that is the use of watermarked images. So we can see something like this in some posts:

We could say that this is not illegal, because the application allows you to download a draft with a watermark, the issue is that we are actually dealing with a paid image, in an application that offers hundreds of free images.
So... How to download free and legal pictures?
Remember that on the Internet there exist plenty of rules about author rights, and photos are not out of that.
That's why when you insert a picture on your post, you have to tell us (your readers) where did you get the image. Now... Can you use any picture you like? ... The answer is NO.
I recommend you to visit some of the many websites where you have the option to download and use for free some of their images:

The more "handmade" your content is, the better. I mean... there will always be better if you can take a picture on your own and share it with us. That will give your post a touch of uniqueness.

¡Hola queridos recién llegados! Hace un tiempo hice una publicación relacionada con las imágenes que usamos en nuestras publicaciones.
Por eso quiero compartir de nuevo no solo los sitios donde puedes descargar imágenes legalmente, sino también mostrarte lo que no debes hacer con ellas.
Lo que no debes hacer
Hay una costumbre que he visto en steemians nuevos y antiguos, y es el uso de imágenes con marca de agua. Entonces podemos ver algo como esto en algunas publicaciones:
Podríamos decir que esto no es ilegal, porque la aplicación permite descargar un borrador con marca de agua, el problema es que en realidad estamos ante una imagen de pago, en una aplicación que ofrece cientos de imágenes gratuitas.
Entonces ... ¿Cómo descargar imágenes gratuitas y legales?
Recordá que en Internet existen muchas reglas sobre los derechos de autor, y las fotos no están excentas.
Es por eso que cuando insertás una imagen en tu publicación, debes decirnos (a tus lectores) de dónde obtuviste la imagen. Ahora ... ¿Puedes usar alguna imagen cualquiera que te guste? ... La respuesta es no.
Te recomiendo que visites algunos de los muchos sitios web donde tienes la opción de descargar y usar gratis algunas de sus imágenes:
