It's with great enthusiasm that i participate in this wonderful contest organized by @bright-obias.

My Hobby

One of my favourite hobby is site seeing especially the natural resources nature has given to us.
Nature gives me relaxation and comfort, it motivates and inspires me. seeing beautiful clouds while walking or driving through the road, magnitude of colours while sunset, seeing autumn foliage, flocks of birds migrating, sounds of rivers,Birds flying in the sky represents limitless freedom and they all leave me in awe... Nature has its way of calming my soul when i am sad or moody. It gives me strength and Joy. It gives me hope and sense of belonging. It also tells me a lot about the one who created them.

How do i manage to like my hobby

When i was 12yrs of age, i could remember one of the wonderful assignments my class teacher gave to us, with the title " Nature a panacea to all Human problems". We were asked to oppose or propose on the topic. After rigorous researches,seeing the great and amazing benefits of nature to man, i was able to propose on the motion, since then till date, my love for nature grew rapidly by each passing day.

What is the imperative aspect of my hobby

A great man named William Shakespeare in his play once said " Nature is a silent but great and the worlds best teacher". Site seeing the natural environment has taught me a great lesson of gratitude; learning to experience the gift of life through my senses has helped me to be thankful. It has taught me to be calm,patient,and kind to people around me. Nature has taught me to always be the giver, rather than the receiver, as there is more happiness in giving than in receiving.

How do i plan on creating a landmark using my hobby.

Well, great achievements, are made through little but bold steps. My love for nature motivated me to take up a 4years program in Animal and Environmental Biology in other to broaden my knowledge on how nature works. As a member of the Environmental club society of Nigeria, we have held sensitization programs to tell people on how they need to save mother earth through reduction in Anthropogenic activities. I have also carried out a project to check some of the effects of Anthropogenic activities on a water body and also proffered solutions. I hope to partner with more organizations to achieve more success.

We need nature to survive, nature can replenish itself. It is the duty of each and everyone of us to protect nature.
