Asslam o alaikum and good evening to all there!!! 🥰

I hope you're all doing well and good. Today I'm going to share the village wedding experience in random village in Punjab Pakistan.

I was invited and I had to go so I went. After reaching I saw the hustle and bustle all around there. It was a hot day today so everyone was feeling it. No wind was moving at that time and it boosted up the heaviness of summer.

Everyone was feeling irritation while sitting free. Because the barat had not come yet. Everyone was waiting for barat. There was nothing to do before that. That's why we started wandering here and there. The barat was a bit late. It was coming from the Qasur City. Miles away from the Okara city where this village situated.

Finally after almost 2 hours the Barat came and everyone had a sigh of relief. Barat was consist of men, women and children. Young boys from barat were dancing on the beats of Dhol. Dhol is the national beat of pakistani wedding especially for mehndi and barat function. They all were in a different rhythm. We were happy to see them like this. We liked their dance as well.

After that they sat down on the chairs that were specially arranged for them. They all sat down and the groom and some special persons sat on the couch that was on the stage.
Then after some moments there was Nikkah ceremony. After finishing up with Nikkah everyone has a prayer for the betterment of the new life on the couple which they're going to start from today. Groom seemed to be happy as it was the most important day of his life.
After that everyone congratulated the groom and hugged him. Specially his relatives and friends.

Now everyone was feeling hungry because it's the barat already came late and it was the lunch time. That lunch started and we ate it with full zeal. It was made delicious by the cooks. Specially the qorma and biryani was so yummy that I can't even explain.
After getting free from lunch we came outside and washed our hands. Then we had nothing to do except wandering around there. It was only the option at that time. While wandering here and there I took some random pictures there.
Now they were finished from all the doings they were came for. They were ready to go. The bride came. It was time to see them off. Everyone was feeling very happy. Finally they went to Qasur City.

Now it was our time to return to home. After sometime we were ready to do so. While returning the day has almost down. Sun was setting and giving a glitter of nature's beauty.
