My Best Moment Of Life- 2016 UEFA Champions League Final. Real Madrid Vs Athletico Madrid
Greetings Great Minds
Everyday so many things happens which brings me joy that I wish it keeps happening everyday, I have several best moments ranging from when I concluded my fourth surgery in two years to when I gained admission in Rivers State University to study Environmental Biology after seeking for admission for 5years to when I won the election as the Departmental President, I have alot of best moments to share but for the sake of this contest I will like to share one which could be one of most persons best moments, especially football lovers, Christiano Ronaldo lovers and Real Madrid fans.
I am Christiano Ronaldo die hard fan, since he plays for Madrid I automatically became a Real Madrid fan, so I watch every of his game and my pleasure is to see him make things happen, so I always want him to win, I believe in him so much. I love to see him win. I am interested in anything he does.

This 2016 UEFA Champions League game is a game organized by Union of European Football Association (UEFA).
This UEFA Champions League game was played on 28th-May-2016 at San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy.

This football game was between Spanish teams Real Madrid Vs Athletico Madrid it's actual the second time in the tournament's history that both finalist are from the same city, the game is actually a Derby because the both teams are from the same City in Spain, so it's a great game.

The game started, it wasn't an easy game for the both teams, at 15 mins, Toni Kroos sent a freekick to Athletico Madrid's penalty box, the ball was passed from Bale to Sergio Ramos, them Sergio Ramos placed it into the net, Sergio Ramos scored the goal for Real Madrid, though, there was agitation that Sergio Ramos was offside that the goal should be disallowed, at this point I developed physical cold feet, I was shivering that they shouldn't disallow this goal, fortunately, the goal stood.
REAL MADRID 1 : 0 ATHLETICO MADRID
At this point I was very happy because Real Madrid is winning, therefore I am winning.
At 79th Athletico Madrid, Juanfran crossed the ball to Yannick Carrasco from the right to a close range goal for Athletico Madrid. This goal equalized for Athletico Madrid making the scoreline to be;
REAL MADRID 1 : 1 ATHLETICO MADRID
At this point I was almost crying, I was afraid of my club not celebrating as the winner of this game. I started wondering and asking myself questions like;
- what if this game settles in penalty shoot out?
- Can Real Madrid win with penalty, are they still good in penalty shoot out?
- Is Real Madrid goalie, Navas experienced in penalty safe?
- Who and who will play the penalty?
- I hope Christiano Ronaldo will not miss penalty like he did in 2008 UEFA Champions League Final against Chelsea FC but Manchester United still won the trophy?

I asked myself all these question because I know that many great players have missed penalties at crucial moments like this, at this moment my body vibration became very low again, my body temperature changed.
I tried to pick the courage and believe that whatever be the outcome, let it be. Funny enough that I was almost crying.
The scoreline remained REAL MADRID 1:1 ATHLETICO MADRID at the end of 90 minutes which sent the match to an extra time.
The 30minutes extra time was goalless, finally the game was settled for penalty shoot out. This particular time already the both club's fans stomach is sick. Knowing that penalty is a game of lottery, you never know what will happen.
When the penalty shoot out began, the both teams had scored their 3 leg each.

When it got to the fourth fourth man for Athletico, Juanfran missed the crucial penalty.

At this point Christiano Ronaldo is to take the fourth penalty for Real Madrid, if Christiano Ronaldo scores, Christiano Ronaldo have clinch the victory for Real Madrid , I became nervous, even players became nervous, some fans were crying, some were already praying to their God for Christiano Ronaldo to score the goal, some couldn't face it that they have to hide their face but Athletico Madrid players and fans just wishing that C. Ronaldo loses the penalty.
At this point there were so many reactions ranging from club owners, fans and players, it was a decisive Moment. This moment kept everybody in suspense with different reactions.

Fortunately enough, Christiano Ronaldo scored the winning goal and the atmosphere was overtaken with joy, I was overwhelmed with the euphoria of that victory, I almost lost my voice that moment everybody chanted with joy. The whole of that week I celebrated and appreciated that moment. This is the one of the moments in my life I will never forget.
