Right. I noticed the price at one point and it was in the low $0.11 cent area, and I was already wondering what was going on? Then like an hour or two later I glanced again, and it was $08.2! Then I saw the exchanges' slow response announcements on Twitter, and realized it was happening everywhere.
Interesting that the date yesterday was the 10th of the month, since I just wrote this in the monthly closing price report:
If I'm not mistaken, it appears that the September closing price of $0.117176 was STEEM's 2nd lowest monthly close of all times. The only lower month was $0.099 in February, 2017, when the price was on the way to its all time low on March 10.
So, after the lowest-ever monthly close, the closing price bottomed out on the 10th of the next month (at $0.072). Here's hoping that October 10th was another bottom...
You lie down, rarely (or never) seen anything like this. STEEM below 10 cents... WTF

Yup, this is why the bitcoin people have always said not to invest more than you can afford to lose... Crypto is not for the faint-hearted.;-)
