I’d like to thank everyone who rolled up their sleeves, came out early on their Saturday mornings to give back to our ocean, environment and planet to really make a difference.
From The Heart Tribe has collected over 60,000 objects off the beach 🏖 by hosting events to bring people together to do good!
Just last year, 2019, we collected 14,613 foreign objects off the beach 🏖 #wow #yay #grateful
This year with the pandemic it’s been challenging to bring larger groups together but it’s ever so needed to help our natural environment. The rise of single use plastic has hit an all time high with sanitation and take out convenience because of COVID-19 restaurant restrictions.
2020 will be the 5th year hosting organized @fromthehearttribe beach cleanups and I have never seen the beaches and neighborhoods cluttered with this overwhelming amount of foreign objects as I have this year. It’s heart breaking! We can’t stop caring because of our sanitary convenience...! This actually makes the problem more of an issue with pollution to our ocean and more unsanitary and unhealthy areas for us to enjoy.
Please be aware and take care. Keep reducing your plastic consumption and organize a small friends gathering ready for action to clean for an hour or two.
THANK YOU again for all the selfless volunteers that made each event so special in 2019.
We did so good!! Let’s don’t stop here! Already in 2020 we have had several small beach cleanups in hopes to continue to inspire and help keep our environment safe and healthy.
