This whole pandemic crisis has brought the whole world to a stand still, closing down economic activities.
One thing the pandemic brought out is creativity in different forms and technology advancement.
We all have this mindset that building is the basic of operational activities but this pandemic gave us a new view and orientation of how things are to play out.
The pandemic brought out the necessity for the use of nose mask especially in public places.
In Nigeria here, the health authorities and government advices us to make use of nose mask made with fabric, this sprung some issues which was verified and the use of the fabric nose mask was justified with some series of test as to its effectiveness. Also it is reusable because after use it can be washed and used again, This saves cost of buying new nose mask and also it hygienic because it is washed with soap and water which is one of the precaution we need to combat the virus.
As a fashion designer, I also made some fabric nose mask which I sold some and use some for charity purpose.
The best fabric for nose mask is the one made with cotton fabric and silk material.
MATERIALS NEEDED
- Cotton fabric and silk fabric
- half inched elastic band
- bias
- thread and needle or sewing machine.
