Treetuesday - The kids Honor tree! Every ribbon represents a lost animal ❤️

This tree came to life 4 years ago at work when many of our kids were struggling with the loss of a animal.
We talked about it alot and realized that the thought of not be able to say Hi or goodbye to their cat and dog was the hardest.

So we took some ribbons and cut them, then every kid chose one and we putted them on the tree.
Now every ribbon had a name of a Loving pet that has passed.

It was a success and they now say things like "Look, there is Felix ribbon"
It has helped alot 😉

I even got a ribbon for my loving Elvis cat that passed 2 years ago.
He was my joy and best companion, we had 15 amazing years together ❤️

Love how a childs mind works and how we can learn as much from them as the other way around ❤️
