This piece was conceived as camouflage of a ventilation duct of the Chacaito Metro station, and the artist opted for a work on an urban scale, It could be seen as two separate pieces integrated by the continuity of the space, between the external space (Plaza Brión) and the internal space of the station (the mezzanine of the Chacaito Station). By the 1980s, Jesús Soto was working on the series "Ambivalences in Color Space", in which through of color the artist tried to achieve a spatial ambiguity, when placing elements they appear to be in different planes and in movement. Jesús Soto was one of the artists invited to participate in the Metro de Caracas cultural and artistic setting project, when the first line was inaugurated.
