May 20, 2018 | Mt. Tapulao Summit | I walked the most steps last Sunday at 69,313 ...

... and climbed the most floors at 246. Both were new records. All thanks to the 36 km stretch trail with 2037 MASL elevation climb of Mt. Tapulao, Central Luzon’s highest mountain. With me were these amazing people, and together our strength, patience and endurance were tested. We can all proudly say “We Conquered Tapulao!”

Thank you, Jan-j for taking good care of the team. You made sure that we were safe from beginning until the end of the tough journey. Your constant encouragement made it all easy for us to finish the climb in spite of wanting to give up middle of the climb.

This was my first climb, and I thought I wouldn’t make it. But the people who were with us, my new friends, made it easy for everyone to finish the race. Na miss ko bigla yung mga instructions along the way na, “sa left”, “sa right”, “madulas ha mag-ingat”, “pahingi naman ng chocolate”, “GoPro take a photo”. Thank you, folks. Until our next climb. Sama sama ulit. Invite nyo ko ha. Sama ko si Jordan next time. :)
