... it's vegan. It's called Law-oy, it's a savory stew made of Taro tubers (cubes), young stems (looks like asparagus), young edible leaves (teared to pieces), coconut milk, chili, and salt ro taste. Not good for people in diet, really goes well with heapings of rice.

Yes, it's veggie but is cooked savoury and tasty, it's called Laing in other regions.
Taro from root to leaves is yummy, looks like a different recipe testai though.
I'm not familiar with the actual plant (some are inedible, causes severe irritation) but my mom is great at harvesting the edible ones :D
