Ⓑⓤ©ⓚⓦⓗⓔⓐⓣ💚🌱 If you want to eat a plant - based healthy diet and you sometimes ...
... have little time to cook, then porridge is also a good solution. The most common variation for a porridge is probably with oat flakes, but also millet flakes or buckwheat are wonderfully suitable. Buckwheat is not only delicious, but also very healthy.🌱
Ⓑⓤ©ⓚⓦⓗⓔⓐⓣ is not a grain and therefore gluten free. It also contains plenty of vitamin E and B1 or B2. Minerals such as potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium as well as silicic acid, which is very important for skin and hair, are also contained in considerable quantities. It is particularly interesting for diabetics.
☀️I first washed the buckwheat, than briefly boiled it up with almond milk and then let it simmer gently in front of me. Stir again and again, so it's best to stick with it. Then I refined it with vanilla, cinnamon and pomegranate syrup. Topped with some summer berries that have a lot of antioxidants 💚🌱
I haven't eaten a podridge like this. It looks really delicious plus the fruits. In our country, we have rice porridge (lugaw/champorado) and chicken rice porridge (chicken arroz caldo). Though, we can cook and be creative with the ingredients, but most of time, these two are the to-go porridge.
Ahh you make me hungry 😋😋
I just love porridge so this is definitely my taste
Thank for the recipe and advertising on healthy food variations @lonistellina 😋
Ever tried with buckwheat?💚
No, not yet. I seldom buy food because I get vegetables from Foodsharing and always have something to use up
