I will tell you a story today. When I used to go to school, we signed up for a ...
... project to understand and help immigrants that came mostly from Africa. You may not know, but I am Italian and I lived in a small town in Sicily most of my life. Those days changed my life. Knowing what is really happening to them when they're trying to escape war, torture and abuse made me think. I remember this amazing girl sitting next to us telling her story. She had a gorgeous face, with a long big scar on her cheek. Soldiers from Libia did that and believe me when I said that was the beginning.
Now, America you should learn from this, I mean everyone should. I do not see colours, race, sexuality or gender so why don't learn about different cultures and embrace them?
I am white and I will speak up. I will help, donate and do my best to make this world better. I do not want my children or anyone's go out in fear of people like those policemen.
And still, I have a lot to learn about. I'm open-minded and I actually cannot wait for you guys to teach me better. Please, consider myself as your sister. #blacklivesmatter and that's it.
Well said my friend, Well said...
