... @neopch ? This meeting was held at the dDaily Airbnb mansion during the Steemfest 3 festivities. It was an invite only for many of the dApp developers on Steem and they discussed the problems they faced. The one thing that became obvious from the meeting was the developers needed to stop waiting on the Stemit team to create the opportunities for them and needed create those opportunities themselves.
Fast forward 2 years later - SMT's still haven't been released. Ned Scott resigns from Steemit and sells it off to Justin Sun. The top Steem witnesses hardfork out of Steem and create a new blockchain called "Hive." And Appics moves on to Telos blockchain while finally releasing their own APX Tokens (originally XAP tokens). A lot can change in 2 years in this crypto space. The only thing certain is the power has always been in your hands. MAKE YOUR OWN OPPORTUNITIES
