So, we have three kittens. One of them is she, our cotton fur ball, the shy and silent ...

... one.

Day before yesterday, a group of stray dogs attached them early in the morning. She was the one who got the bite/grasp of one of those dogs.

By the time we reached she had escaped somehow. The other ones hid at two different places.

She fell sick immediately. There were a lot of "we could have done"s that we had but we were happy she was okay.

There were no visible cuts or anything. So, we thought she was just scared at first. But then noticed she had difficulty walking.

A few hours later, she was back to her normal self and she started asking for food.

We were so happy she was all okay.

We fed her some fish and she didn't show any different issues. But she was sick and just rested all day.

Since we didn't see any cuts we thought nothing might have happened. And DIDN'T TAKE THE VACCINE.

The next day seemed fine too. And this picture is after she had her lunch where they usually take a nap.

In the evening, everything changed. She went to places where nobody sees her. We didn't know what's wrong. And then realized she has problems with the digestion.

Soon, we saw two spots of wounds. Not deep but it was there.

Yesterday was such a sad day hoping she just recovers somehow. Blaming ourselves for our ignorance and completely after her when she was becoming weaker and weaker with wheezing and everything.

Now, here's the thing. Partly we ignored because they are generally outdoor. They eat what they want or catch but still spends time with us. So, part of us thought they know how to survive or these are normal and all that au naturale stuff.

But, let me tell you if you're considering that. It all seems and sounds great. And yes, there'll be a good enough reason to not do the vaccine route.

But, it is much harder to watch a kitten suffer. It's feels way too bad to think of a Good-Bye to someone so close knowing we could have done something that might saved them.

So, if you're doubtful about this, please do your research and get it done. Don't be a fool like me when it comes to these viruses. It might not be perfect but if it helps, then that's what matters.

Today morning we took her to the vet. They said the cut is not so bad. Suggested the stomach issues might be because of food or something. She was Soo weak when we reached there. After a shot of glucose she felt a slight bit better.

Started the rabies vaccine course even though it's late. We just hope she is not infected at this point. But she is still so weak. Gets up with much difficulty and it's just awful to watch her go through this.

Both others start their rabies shots very soon.

If you are following any ideology, then please consider researching more, consider you're surroundings and potential problems.

Don't make the mistakes I made. Regret is a very powerful emotion that might take a very long time to recover.
