using what you have is great.i mean this. as the solutions are limited. my concern is that the burial of pollution for any required solution . is still a burial of pollution. what happens in 100 years? when the degredation of the polymer chains put carcinogens into the ground water?
i ask... what would the descendants say?
how do we , as a race , want to be recognised as ancestors?

I think natural degradation is better than forceful degradation wherein people burn or try alternative recycling processes that emit huge tons of Green house gases. When materials degrade naturally, I believe the earth finds a way to absorb them in such a way that why aren’t harmful since it does this absorption slowly but steadily. Remember that most of the substances used in the production of these materials occur freely in nature but aren’t harmful and I believe if nature is given enough time, she will steadily absorb these substances without hurting the ecosystem. However, the biggest problem here is with our production and consumption patterns which really need to change because we are producing and consuming more than nature can provide and digest. If we change our production and consumption habits and take from nature our needs and not our greed, we may be giving nature enough time to stabilize and heal the effects of all our actions.

you have some very poignant thoughts there.
i agree with most of them.
i conclude there should be a better way to be responsible as a race from the beginning.
rather than pick up the pieces afterwards
