... i could go near to it😅....For those who have no idea, a Step Down Transformer is the one which reduces the output voltage, that means it functions for converting high voltage with low current into a low voltage with high current.
Simply put, the voltage being generated from the mains (transmission line) is too high for home use...hence it needs to be reduced to a value our homes and offices can handle, over here its usually between 220-240V.
Nonetheless, care should be taken whenever one is closeby🚷..a single mistake could lead to death by electrocution ⚡and reapirs and maintenance should only be carried out by qualified personnel.🛠
