... where I live: isla Colon, named after Christopher Columbus on his fourth and final voyage to the Americas, he stopped in Bocas del Toro. Island further out to the left is called isla Bastimentos one of the bigger islands from our 9 main islands in our archipelago. Our islands here are pretty close to each other. As a paddler it’s cool to have islands close and be able to zip around each one. There are also thousands of islets dotted around. Each island is different and has its own vibe. You can find hostels, hotels, restaurants etc in each one, so if you visit you can actually stay at different islands and experience each one. Right now traveling is prob not something a lot of people are thinking about but I hope someday soon you can visit us. It’s a cool place to visit 🌴😎 Bocas del Toro, Panama
