Soon after TikTok was banned because of an alleged Data Breach, there were talks of 'Reliance JIO' acquiring it and relaunching in India 🇮🇳
Now, it's PubG 🤷🏻 I'm sure at a technical standpoint, there are other ways to solve issues; other than just Banning Apps!
TikTok & PubG was a source of income to a lot of people (specially from the villages and economically backward) by Live streaming on YouTube or Brand Collabs!
And our government has snatched that very source of income from it's citizens!
Gaming is also an effective way to relieve stress 🤯
So a lot of aspects fo Humanity are connected with Technological Developments 👨💻
It's high time the Government realised we are a Democracy (irony - the largest) and not a Monarchy!
All the technical issues with Privacy & Security can be solved with the help of Blockchain 📲

The way you describe it, it's about restricting freedom of expression😒. the question is what the real motivations for this ban are. but wathever it is, it won't do any good. there will be alternatives, and the many like-minded people have an effect like water: an elementary force that seeks its way💪.

Obviously the political or security reasons will not be entirely clear but the reality is that most of the applications are obtaining valuable data and influencing the masses, clear danger if are not they but others.
They want our attention, we are the product.
My analysis focuses on knowing, How could Appics, for example, resist this type of action?
Censorship can be for competition or in good faith for social welfare 🤷. Who says that if people achieve financial freedom through the balance that the Blockchain can generate in the distribution of rewards, then we will not be a "danger"?
Depends on what "Danger" means to you.. my thought process is anyways Major Social Media platforms like Facebook or Google are already collecting our Data.. and yet the Govt decides to Ban only a Few app from China! I'm a believer of Freedom and the Choice to Choose what the masses want.. even if it is ultimately their own destruction - it's their choice! Giving alternative options and ideas is what the Government can do.. but hardly does!
