The Deity/idol is Drowned in Water & prayers are made for a Healthy year ahead 🙏🏻
Most Idol's in India are made of PoP (Plaster of Paris) and when this mixes in the River's or Sea's it harms the entire Eco - System causing Pollution ☣️
This year we made it a point to Get an Eco - Friendly Idol made of Mud so that it Melts easily and we will be planting a Sapling in the very same mud.. Making sure our God stays with us in the form of a Tree 🌳 😊
I really wish the Majority of Indians adopt this method which will not only Reduce Pollution but also make sure Trees are planted 🙌🏻💚
