What I do to stay active
There are certain step I take to be active and healthy for my self. I engage in the following activities;
- spiritually Motivation: life without your creator is meaningless. I make sure I engage God in my life every morning before engaging in any activities of the day. I put God first in anything I do and make sure I attend Church service every Sunday.
Engaging in church activities
- Always be physically fit and energetic: As human to achieve your different plans and desire, you must defeat laziness from your life. For me, I went to bed at 9:30 and then woke up by 2:am in the morning to read my books and achieve a little knowledge to help me fight the tough life of illiteracy. After reading for 3hours, I took a little sleep to attend lectures in the morning. When I woke up in the morning, I engage in a little exercise to keep my body fit and then head to the bathroom to bath and prepare myself for school.

Walking more does have added value, especially when you walk briskly for a longer duration, up hills, or use your arms for more than just a comfortable gait and swing them with your body.

- Always Keep up with something: Sometimes after school, I hang out with some friends, gist, laugh and do some bakings together. We might end up snapping pictures together too and even clubbing at weekend.

Of course i agree with you that those things you mentioned can keep a person active, in fact starting the day with spiritual activities,while other things come next like physical exercise,socializing,entertainment etc. can be very helpful for an active living.
