I welcome you all to todays' lesson. Today I am going to share another skill in this tutorial and that is sewing of kimono blouse.

Today's lesson is going to me an interesting one. Please follow along carefully as I am going to take you on a step by step process of sewing the blouse.

This is the fabric I am using for sewing the blouse. It is a chiffon material. I used two yards of by 45 inches for it. The cost of the material is 5 steem. It's a durable material.
Having gotten the material ready, I will now start the process using the measurements. Below is my measurements for the blouse.

Step 1

Take measurements

Measurement for the kimono blouse

shoulder	30
shoulder bust	40
chest	36
Half length	18
waist	38
Selves length	9
Round sleeves	10
length	31

Step 2

You have to fold the fabric into two and then use the measurement to start marking.

That is the fabric been fold into two. Now I am going to start the marking please follow up.

In this picture I measure the blouse length. The desired length for the blouse is 31 inches. So I am going to Mark out 31 inches. The the thing I am going to so is to Mark out the shoulder, neck, burst, chest and waist.

As you can see in the picture, I measure 30 inches for the shoulder. Please look at the picture carefully to confirm it. Just as you saw in the measurement table, I have marked out the shoulder now 30 inches.

In this particular picture you will notice that I have done up to 3 markings there, that is the shoulder, burst and chest marking. And after that I used scissors and carefully cut the fabric following the marking line.

Step 3

When I was done cutting the front of the cloth, I used it to placed on the remaining material to cut out the back of the blouse. This picture illustrate that. Please check picture to confirm.

Step 4

Sewing

When I finish cutting the back of the blouse. I now started sewing. I joined the back and front together, and also sew the blouse edges.
After that I prepare a rope and attached it from behind the neck.

When I was done attaching the rope, then bend the blouse hand to it measurement.
