First of all greetings and Happy New Year to all my steemit friends, I hope you all are doing well. I'm fine too. So today I came here to participate in this new contest ✏️ 🎨 "A Drawing for New Year" ✏️ organized by @nelsondoor. I want to thank the dear @nelsondoor moderator who organized such a nice contest and gave us a chance to experience it. This is a great contest and one of my favorites.

I practice mandala art by watching YouTube videos. Designing my mandala can be both inspirational and remedial. I can draw shapes like circles, triangles, raindrops, petals, loops, spider webs, etc. Today's New Year drawing I made with a moon mandala, hope you like it.

In my drawings, I have tried to follow the rules of the competition. Let's get started.

🌸 Black marker or gel pen
🌸 Pencil compass
🌸 Eraser

step 1

First I draw two half circles with a compass like a moon. I drew four lines under the half-moon. On one line I drew 2024 and dipped it with the marker.

Then I cut the mark inside the moon with a compass like in the image. Next, I filled in the inside of that circle with the elephant petal design.

Then I filled the entire inside of the moon with designs like circles, triangles, raindrops, petals, loops, spider webs, etc. as in the image.

Step 4

Then on the space, I made some designs like stars, ribbons, and designer elements and I marked them with gel pen. And I wrote Happy New Year. And I decorated 2024 with a design that looks like the image given below.

I am very happy to participate in this contest. I like to participate in competitions especially drawing. In such competitions, we can share our skills. We also learn about the skills of others. I am very happy to participate in such a competition. I hope you liked my post today.
