SEC - S9W6: "My Biggest Challenge"
Each time I come around to write, it gives me joy cause I know that you are there. How are you?.
I'm so delighted to take part of this contest.
As a human beings everyone have encountered with one challenges or the other which is normal way of life. cause that what makes us stronger and drive us to push more.
What has been your biggest challenge?
I have passed so many challenges in life both physically, emotionally and financially. But the biggest challenge among all is when I was scammed. On that faithful day I was in my house around 4pm, a massage entered my phone that I'm eligible to receive 80,000 thousand naira, which is about 596 steem. From one of the my state Man that contested for Senate and won. By then I was preparing dinner. And being that I was happy that he won the election. Little did I know that it was scammers. So when I finish preparing the food, around 6pm. As I pick my phone, there was a number that was with the massage and was ask to call the line. As I called the number, the person pick the call and said the same thing that the massage said. there was a 4 digts number that was there and he as me to call it him. I never new that the 4digts was my pin number that he changed.
So the next day as I went to withdraw some money in my account I couldn't find any money in my account. And I was having about 220,000 thousand naira in my account. I was like what really happened?.
Tell us how did you get over it?.
Hmmm getting over it was by the grace of God. Immediately I rushed to the bank to know if can get my money back but couldn't. And being a business person that i am, I have to go and meet my customers that use to supply goods to me and tell them what happened to me. In order to know if they can help me out. as God may have it, they did. I was like starting life from beginning again. But thank God now I have recover lost and can buy goods and pay them.
What advice can you give us from your experience?
Life is all about challenges. It doesn't matter how many challenges you face but how did you overcomes it. As we live on challenges will come and is a must, we have to face it and keep on moving. because it makes us have more experience of life and stronger.

These fake calls are being received by people in our country. Even our central bank issues a warning to the public telling them never to share their OTP numbers with anyone. These gamblers can now be found everywhere.
My dear @senehasa yes they are everywhere and we really have to be careful about them..even the with the things we see internet.

The experience you had sister was so traumatic. Scammers are everywhere and they are already so hightech. Just a piece of advice, we should never give an otp to anyone. And if we havent joined any games, we should not believe that we won certain amount because scammers were rampant nowadays.

Your biggest challenge was when you got cheated which is really sad. That day you were at your house around 4pm and you got a message on your phone saying you are entitled to 80,000 thousand naira which according to you is about 596 STEEM. Little did you know it was a scammer. Good to know you were saved from a scammer. I appreciate your intelligence. Good luck to you. .
Overcoming a scam is very hard, and more so when you think that the person who is talking to you, you know and trust him.
I'm glad you were able to get financially stable again and move on, someone else would have been stuck, but you moved on.

Dios que desastre que gente tan inhumana… bueno son estafadores. Aquí en Venezuela estafan desde las cárceles por esa razón no hago caso a ningún mensaje de desconocidos. Seguro será la primera y la última. Porque ya sabes cómo actúa esa gente. Que desafío amiga
Is a pity. Scammers are one wicked set of people that needs a serious punishment when they are apprehended. I can imagine how hurtful it was but thank God you recovered everything now and can buy and pay. Be careful next time.
