Hello friends, how are you? You must be fine. I am fine Alhamdulillah. I am very happy to participate in the engagement challenge. This is the second week of the contest for the SEC-S17W2: ""Protecting children" in the Recreative Steem community. First of all, I thank this community for this wonderful contest. Let's start.
In your own words, what does child slavery mean and what are its most common manifestations? |

A child's childhood will be filled with joy, being safe, learning, and playing. But many children do not have that opportunity for safety. They grew up in slavery. Forced labor, deprivation of basic rights, deprivation of education and freedom, and exploitation of children are all forms of child slavery. Due to this, many children are subjected to physical and sexual abuse.
They are forced to work without pay. They are exploited and abused, even in dangerous situations. Some of the common manifestations of child slavery are working in agriculture, factories, construction, brick making, mining brothels, the tourism industry, child labor in private homes, child trafficking for begging, sexual abuse or forced marriage, and being forced into drug trade. It is imperative to raise awareness and take effective action to eradicate this heinous crime against humanity.
How does forced labor impact the lives of children? |

Forced labor has bad and dangerous effects on children's lives. Forced labor robs children of their childhood. As a result, they are forced to take on more responsibilities before adulthood. The joys of childhood, sports, and social education are all taken away from a child. Trapped in forced labor, children become physically and mentally ill after working for hours. Many even dies. Forced labor leaves children with deep and permanent scars that scar their minds for life. As a result, children not only spoil their childhood but also keep them away from a better life. They are trapped in poverty and want. We must all work together to ensure the safety and bright future of labor children.
What strategies do you consider effective to eradicate forced child labor? |

We can use the help of the government to eliminate forced child labor. Also, we can stop this forced child labor with the help of international organizations, NGOs, and business associations. An effective strategy is to ban the employment of children before a certain age to reduce child labor. Moreover, by improving the education system and providing vocational training opportunities to children, they can be protected from exploitation. Employments that employ children and favor child labor can be boycotted. Strict legal proceedings may be initiated. Moreover, families suffering from poverty must be supported and adults must be guaranteed a fair wage. So that they do not make their children work for money. Labor inspection and monitoring systems can be of great help in selecting and rescuing children from strong social situations. Moreover, if everyone fights together against child slavery, child labor will be eradicated.

Children are the future of a nation. If these children are deprived of their development and fulfillment of their dreams at an early age, this nation will never progress. It is our moral responsibility to give basic rights to children. Yes, I believe it is the fundamental right of children to develop fully and have the freedom to pursue their dreams. Children should not be subjected to forced labor and exploitation. Every child has the right to live in a safe and healthy environment to grow up. Where what is good for them is prioritized, the cries are heard and the desires of their hearts are supported. When children understand their feelings, their wishes are valued, and they not only improve themselves but are also a blessing to society. We need to educate today's children with the light of education and knowledge for a bright future.

To tackle this fair wages for parents and strict penalties for exploiting children are crucial. The way children are enslaved to one thing or the other is something we shouldn't keep quite about. We all have work to do regarding to this topic. Every child is so special irrespective of the birth conditions.

Kerja paksa menyebabkan dampak yang buruk pada kehidupan anak, itu berdampak pada fisik dan juga psikologis anak.
Anak-anak rentan mengalami kekerasan di tempat kerja karena pelampiasan kemarahan, fisik mereka cedera dan luka dan bahkan kesehatan mereka terganggu karena terkena gas berbahaya dan juga paparan zat kimia.
